Welcome to Mountain to Move!
Mountain to move was established August 12, 2022 as a platform to guide and uplift college students as they navigate this new chapter of life. You’ll find information on everything college related- from dorm life to relationships to personal development. I hope that I can make the transition to college and everyday experiences that come along with it a bit easier through this blog. Thanks for checking it out!
Hey there! I’m so glad to be able to share my experiences in college with you! I am currently a junior in college pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I plan to get a Master’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology once I graduate, so I love the idea of helping others to make school a more enjoyable experience!
Throughout college, I have had a boatload of experiences, in all honesty, not all of them were good:
- Went through sorority rush (side note: we don’t have actual sororities)
- Partied too much
- Almost failed out of school (oops!)
- Quit partying completely
- Pushed myself out of my comfort zone
- Worked on campus
- Worked off campus
- Changed majors and added an additional one
- Brought my grades back up
- Moved three times
- Studied abroad in Guam
- Made so many great memories
- Maintained a long distance relationship (almost 16 hours of distance!)
In this blog, I hope to help you stay away from the mistakes I have made and have a college experience you love. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to help you out the best way I can.
